Radio Day of European Cultures
The Radio Day of European Cultures was first launched in 2003 and since then has been held bi-annually.
In 2003 under the Motto "Building Bridges", 2005 "Talking to Each Other", 2007 "My Europe" and in 2009 "Languages through Microphones".
The event provides a unique chance for all European broadcasters to make a major contribution to building a common European identity and demonstrating the great potential of radio to cross borders.
